Dyson sucks up new deal

JON DYSON will remain at Huddersfield Town for another four weeks after quickly snapping up a new one-month deal.

Dyson was originally released by The Yorkshire outfit over the summer, after being surplus to requirements, however the veteran stopper returned following a defensive crisis.

The former club trainee only signed a three-month deal last week, but is now an important member of the team after forming a solid partnership with Nat Brown.

With The Terriers currently level on points with Colchester United, who are in the relegation zone, the club have moved swiftly to ensure their current central defensive pairing stays intact.

Meanwhile, manager Mick Wadsworth  will be without star striker Andy Booth for at least another four weeks after tearing a calf muscle.

The former Sheffield Wednesday striker had been just weeks away from making a come-back, but is now back in the treatment room.
