Flo recalled to Semb's squad

TORE ANDRE FLO has been called up to Nils Johan Semb's Norwegian squad for their upcoming friendly against Austria.

Flo is currently in a rich vein of form under Sunderland's new manager Howard Wilkinson after making a slow start to his Black Cats career under Peter Reid.

After netting twice in his last two Premiership matches Flo, who was last called-up for national duty in March, is close to showing the form the former Rangers man displayed whilst at Chelsea.

"We know Tore Andre's qualities and if he's in form he can be an important element for the national team (in Euro 2004 qualifiers) in the spring," said Semb.

Rosenborg's Frode Johnsen and Austria Vienna's Sigurd Rushfeldt were the main beneficiaries of Flo's recent absence, however the pair have now been axed due to 29-year-old's return.
