Chunnan set to lose Kim Nam

SOUTH KOREA'S Kim Nam-il is set to leave K-League club Chunnan Dragons after the club agreed to let their prized asset go should a top European club come in for his services.

Kim, who has made no secret of his desire to play in Europe, saw a move to Turkish side Antalyaspor blocked in September because the management team at Chunnan believed he was not ready to leave the K-League.

However, the two parties have now come to an agreement and have decided Kim will get his move to Europe when the transfer window re-opens, if the right offer comes in.

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven have been keeping tabs on the talented midfielder and will send a team of officials, including former South Korea coach Guss Hiddink, to Korea later this month to negotiate a possible move.

They will also be checking on the progress of Kim's South Korean team-mate Park Ji-sung of Japan's Kyoto Purple Sanga, whilst on their travels.
