Hadji back for Morocco

EXCLUSIVE
MOROCCAN coach Esaki Badou has revealed to planetfootball.com that Aston Villa star Moustapha Hadji is back in the international fold.

The 29-year-old has been recalled to the Atlas Lions' squad for their friendly clash with Mali in Rabat on November 20.

It is the first time since July 2001, that Hadji has been named in his country's national squad, after he fell out with previous coach Humberto Coelho.

Badou was confirmed as Coelho's successor this summer and immediately stated his intention to bring Hadji back into the international scene and he has now backed that up with the call-up.

"He will have this opportunity if he is in good form, he is what we want," said Badou.

Hadji, who is failing to feature under current Villa boss Graham Taylor, said earlier this year that he would be happy to play under Badou.
