Rangers land Angell

QUEENS PARK RANGERS have completed the signing of former Everton and Stockport striker Brett Angell on a short-term basis.

Angell, who was available on a free transfer after leaving Port Vale last month, has signed a six-week deal at Loftus Road.

Rangers boss Ian Holloway was keen to bolster his striking options after injuries to Kevin Gallen, Dennis Oli and Paul Furlong.

The 34-year-old hit-man could make his debut in this weekend's game with Luton.
