Milito brothers eye double switch
SOUTH AMERICAN brothers Gabriel and Diego Milito are looking to move to the same club in The Premiership, with talks ongoing with a number of sides in England's top-flight.
Southampton have been interested in striker Diego (pictured), while defender Gabriel is very highly-rated with the likes of Bayern Munich, Roma and Milan interested, while Leeds United head English interest.
Diego and Gabriel, 22 and 23 respectively, are now looking to join the same Premiership club, to make their transition into life in England as smooth as possible.
American agent Eric Menasse now says that the duo are in talks with three or four Premiership clubs, adding the double signing of two of Argentina's most highly rated youngsters would be a massive coup.
Menasse has been given a mandate by the two clubs involved, Independiente (Gabriel) and Racing (Diego), along with the duo's agent, and is charged with finding them a club in England.
"We are talking to three or four clubs in The Premiership at the moment," Menasse told planetfootball.
"Only a Premiership club would be able to afford and attract one of the best strikers in Argentina and one of the best defenders.
"Signing both of them would be quite a coup if a club could manage it.
"They would ideally love to go to the same club as it would be the first time they have left the country.
"They are close brothers and it is only natural that they would like to play for the same club in a different country."
Talks are continuing aimed at securing a move to England for the brothers during the winter transfer window, with the duo pinning their hopes on joining the same club.
