De Boer wants Ajax return
DUTCH legend Frank de Boer has admitted that he would love to end his career at Ajax.
The Barcelona star's contract is due to expire at Camp Nou in the summer and he confirmed that a return to the Dutch capital is an option he would favour.
Ajax coach Ronald Koeman has already stated that he is considering replacements for Cristian Chivu.
The highly-rated Romanian is set to leave The Amsterdam ArenA at the end of the season, with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona set to challenge for his signature.
De Boer has now seemingly put his name forward as a contender to replace Chivu.
"I would like to close the last two years of my career at Ajax," De Boer told Radio Noord.
"I like the idea.
"If Ajax call in the winter break, I'm eager to listen. That's for sure."
