FA to study King stamp incident
King appeared to stamp on the Swede's knee during the second half of clash at Highbury.
Ljungberg, who questioned whether King had deliberately stamped on him, was forced to miss Sweden's clash with the Czech Republic with the injury and he is now a major doubt for this weekend's trip to Southampton.
The FA will study video evidence of the incident before deciding whether or not to punish the England Under-21 international.
"Yes, we have requested a video of the game," an FA spokesman said.
"At this stage though, it's nothing out of the ordinary - this is normal procedure with incidents such as these. The matter is not with the video advisory panel."
If found guilty King could be handed a three-match ban, but Spurs boss Glenn Hoddle revealed last week that he did not feel the challenge was intentional on Ljungberg.
