Jacobsen wants Hamburg talks
The 23-year-old only moved to Germany from Odense earlier this year, but he is finding it hard to earn a regular first team berth.
"I want to know where I stand and I will talk with head coach Kurt Jara, before the winter break," he said.
"In case the head coach indicates that I don't really figure in his plans, I will find something else.
"My ambitions are higher than sitting on the bench in the Bundesliga and the patience is slowly disappearing.
"I have played from the start twice and come on as a substitute once in the Bundesliga.
"We won the last time, I played. It was 2-0 versus FC Kaiserslautern on September 14.
"Since then, I have just trained and trained except a couple of matches for the reserves.
"The reason that I haven't gone to Jara until now is that I have wanted to work hard and not be considered as a troublemaker in my first six months at the club.
"I should also confess that it is a step to a higher level to move from OB to HSV, but I have no doubts that I am up to the task."
