Flo`s nightmare over

SUNDERLAND striker Tore Andre Flo was delighted after The Black Cats' 2-1 win against Liverpool, saying his nightmare is over.

The leggy Norwegian striker has not had the best of starts to his career at the Stadium of Light following his move from Rangers.

The former Chelsea hit-man says that he has been under immense pressure recently and was delighted with the club's win.

"This week there has been enormous pressure from all sides," Flo told Bergens Tidene.

"I'm almost physically worn out. There has been so many thoughts.

"There has been pressure from the manager, the club and the environments around the club.

"The whole team have struggled, not least with creating chances. In this game we managed to create chances against a good team.

"That should inspire us further. If we manage to create chances against Liverpool, we can do so against most other teams in the league."

Flo said there was a massive difference between playing at Sunderland than his time at Ibrox, and he is now happy he can hold his head up after the club's much-needed victory.

"There's a big difference between playing here and in Rangers. The teams play in different parts of the table, but the enjoyment of a win is ten times bigger in Sunderland than in Rangers.

"Now I can finally meet people and look them in their eyes."
