Reggina keen on Nonda

REGGINA are believed to be interested in signing Monaco striker Shabani Nonda.

The Serie A outfit strugglers are keen to bolster their goal-shy strike-force as they bid to climb out of trouble at the wrong end of the table and have targeted Nonda.

The Congo international has been linked with a move away from Monaco recently with some English clubs thought to be monitoring his situation.

Monaco are thought to be willing to let Nonda leave The Principality as they look to ease mounting debts, but are holding out for a £10 million fee for his signature.

Reggina coach Luigi De Canio is ready to make a move for Nonda when the transfer window re-opens in January after being rebuffed in attempts to sign Juventus ace Marcelo Zalayeta.
