Simeone wants wages paid
A number of players have not been paid by the cash-strapped club for a few months due to their financial problems.
The capital outfit are in serious financial strife and have been put up for sale by owner Sergio Cragnotti.
Despite the financial problems Cragnotti insists that all the players will be paid their owed wages and Simeone hopes he sticks to his word.
"Our salaries? Let's ask Sergio Cragnotti," said Simeone. "But after the words, now necessary facts are needed.
"Let's hope by Christmas something will arrive, not for the money, but as a matter of respect.
"It would be really bad breaking team morale. We are all united and aware of the situation, let's hope words won't be taken away by the wind.
"Our strength is not to think what could happen. We really live day by day, thinking match by match, and not losing time."
