Non-league starlet signs Boro deal

MIDDLESBROUGH have completed the signing of non-league starlet Daniel Graham.

The 18-year-old made his debut for Boro's reserve side on Tuesday in their 2-0 win over Everton.

Graham, who has had two trials on Teesside this season, penned a permanent deal earlier this month after leaving Chester-le-Street Town.

The highly-rated young forward is now being tipped to become a star at The Riverside by his former boss Andrew Muxworthy.

"I am not surprised he has become involved so quickly with the Reserves, I just hope it isn't too much too soon," said Muxworthy.

"If it is not, then with the shortage of natural finishers at Boro, it is not inconceivable for him to be playing for the first team within 12 months. It would not surprise me, put it that way."
