Piplica slams Cottbus
The Bosnian international was one of the first casualties of Energie's dire start to season, and was dropped for Andre Lenz after a couple of glaring mistakes.
Piplica has now hit out at his treatment by the East German club, and admitted he is already seeking a future away from the Freundschaft stadium.
"I was blamed for every single ball that finished in our net," he stormed.
"OK, I take the blame for some of them, but it was never only my fault.
"They changed the goalkeeper, but I can't see that things have improved, infact they are even worse.
"I feel very sorry for the club and the fans, but realistically Cottbus are already relegated even though we are only at the halfway point of the season.
"I will definitely look for other options very soon," concluded Piplica.
The 33-year-old has eighteen months left on his contract with Cottbus, but has a clause in his contract to which allows him to leave the club should they be relegated.
The team are currently bottom of the Bundesliga, and are some nine points away from safety.
