Inter and Juve head Ronaldinho chase

INTERNAZIONALE and Juventus have emerged as the key competitors to Manchester United for the signature of Ronaldinho.

The Paris Saint Germain man is widely expected to leave Le Championnat either in the summer or even as soon as the winter transfer window - and United have been widely linked.

One of the stars of Brazil's World Cup win in the summer, Ronaldinho's skill and guile have made him one of the most attractive propositions in the world.

Inevitably his likely availability has brought suitors aplenty, and the PSG star will almost certainly be the subject of a bidding war.

Juventus and Inter are the sides most heavily linked to the star by the Italian press, with the Bianconeri keen to add some invention to their side, and Inter feeling that they would benefit from some cover for their fantasista role.

However, the current financial climate means that any bidding for the player is not likely to reach the giddy heights that his sale would have prompted last year.

Speculation of a fall-out with under-fire coach Luis Fernandez has led to the player's almost certain exit from PSG, and it remains to be seen which top clubs will enter the auction for the young Brazilian.
