Leeds 2 Chelsea 0
First half goals from Jonathan Woodgate and young star James Milner gave Terry Venables' men all three points.
Leeds broke the deadlock on the half hour with Woodgate heading home Jason Wilcox's corner with the help of a slight deflection off William Gallas.
The home side doubled the lead on the stroke of half time as 16-year-old Milner continued his memorable week with his second goal in two games.
Milner, who came on as a substitute for the injured Harry Kewell midway through the first half, scored from the edge of the box with a brilliant low drive which left Ed de Goey with no chance in the Chelsea goal.
Chelsea came out for the second half in determined fashion with Enrique De Lucas missing a great chance to bring them back into the game after 56 minutes firing wide after a fine flowing move.
Leeds contained Chelsea's attack and Woodgate went close with another header late on.
The win was Leeds's third in four games and help lifted the pressure on Venables, while Chelsea now face a massive battle with Arsenal on New Year's Day hoping to get their championship challenge back on track.
