Tigers release Bloomer
MATTHEW BLOOMER is back training with Division One strugglers Grimsby Town following his release from Hull City.
The 24-year-old had his contract paid up by The Tigers after he failed to impress in his time with the Kingston Communications Stadium club.
Bloomer had spells on loan at Division Three side Lincoln City and Conference club Telford United, while under contract with the Humberside outfit.
The defender had joined Hull City on free transfer in June 2001 from Grimsby and will now look to keep fit with The Mariners, while he looks for a new club.
