Rovers rival Hammers for African
WEST HAM target Ali Zitouni has attracted rival interest from Blackburn Rovers, according to his agent Jaime Ladjemi.
The Esperance ace is determined to seal a move to England, but the need for a work permit means that any buyers may have to move swiftly in order to complete the necessary agreements before the end of the month.
"The player doesn't mind where he goes," Ladjemi told planetfootball.com.
"He just wants to come to England, whether it be with West Ham or Blackburn, as both would be good for him."
The Hammers have already taken the 21-year-old Tunisian international forward on trial, and are still in a strong position to land him if they follow up their initial interest.
Zitouni is a quick attacker with excellent balance, and a dangerous shot.
Rovers seem particularly well served in attack at present, although Hakan Sukur has been unable to play since arriving at the club after breaking a leg.
