Van Buyten wants English move
NEWCASTLE UNITED target Daniel van Buyten has admitted that he wants to play in England.
Van Buyten's agent Christophe Henrotay admitted to planetfootball.com on Friday that The Magpies had enquired about his client and now the player has confirmed his ambition to move to The Premiership.
The 24-year-old defender is seen by many as the answer to Newcastle's continuing defensive problems and the Belgian admits he is looking to cross the channel.
"My aim is to play in England," said van Buyten. "That would be a dream.
"I believe I am good enough to do well there."
Van Buyten only moved to Marseille 18 months ago from Standard Liege, but the French side are reportedly ready to sell if they receive a suitable offer.
