Hammers target Korean star
The South Korean World Cup star saw a move to Antalyaspor collapse last September, and his club side have already confirmed they will not stand in his way if a dream move to Europe is lined up.
The Hammers are understood to be keen to buy into the Asian market, having seen the success of the likes of Sun Jihai at Manchester City and Li Tie at Everton, and already have a Korean on their books in the shape of 17-year-old Lee San.
PSV Eindhoven are also admirers of Kim, who is known to be keen to find a European club, but it would appear that Glenn Roeder is stepping up an interest in the Asian ace.
However, any arrival in East London has yet to be confirmed by either The Dragons or West Ham.
