Canaries complete Briggs deal

NORWICH CITY have completed the signing of Stockport County defender Keith Briggs.

The 21-year-old has penned a three-and-a-half year deal at Carrow Road.

The Canaries have agreed a fee of £65,000 for the Briggs - who won the Player of the Year award at Edgeley Park last season - with a 30 percent sell-on clause.

"We're delighted to have finally secured Keith's signature," said Norwich chief executive Neil Doncaster.

"I would like to wish him all the best in his Norwich City career."

City are now looking to get Briggs's registration through in time for their clash with Watford on Sunday.
