King blow for Gills
GILLINGHAM striker Marlon King faces up to eight weeks out of action with a knee injury.
The highly-rated forward sustained the knee problem during Saturday's draw with Derby County.
The 22-year-old will now have to undergo surgery to cure the problem, and Gills physio George Johnson admitted he could be missing for two months.
"We are obviously pressing for the operation to be carried out as soon as possible," Johnson told the club's official website.
"We understand the minimum recovery time is six weeks, but it could be up to eight."
The news is a major blow to Gillingham as King has been in good form of late.
