Solari shuns Inter switch
Real were desperate to include a player in the transfer of the Brazilian superstar to Santiago Bernabeu and the list of candidates had been narrowed down to just Solari.
The European champions paid an initial é¼25 million for the World Cup golden boot winner, but had hoped a player exchnage would mean no more money would be needed.
"I've already communicated to Real Madrid that I'm not interested in the Inter offer," said the Argentine.
Solari's rejection now means that Real will hold talks with Inter to work-out how to pay off the outstanding debt on the deal, alhtough sources in Italy have suggested that both clubs will continue to try and convince the player to accept the move to Serie A.
