PSG mulling over Jardel move

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN are being linked with a move for Sporting Lisbon's want-away striker Mario Jardel.

The free-scoring Brazilian has fallen out of favour with the Portuguese giants, and local media reports believe he could be heading to the Parc des Princes.

PSG are currently six points off Le Championnat leaders Nice, following last week's win over Le Havre, and are keen to bring in reinforcements.

A deal involving two players going in the opposite direction for the 29-year-old has been mentioned by the Parisians along with cash.

Jose Aloisi, 28, and El Karkouri, 26, are the reported players the club are willing to trade to land to coveted front-man, as coach Luis Fernandez is keen to reduce his squad size.

Sporting are reportedly weighing up PSG's offer, but as yet no deal has been agreed as they would prefer a straight cash swap for the former Galatasaray striker.
