Tottenham to tie up Toda
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR will officially unveil Japanese star Kazuyuki Toda at a press conference at White Hart Lane on Monday.
The Japanese World Cup star is hugely popular in his homeland and is set to sign after agreeing personal terms and completing the formalities of a medical over the weekend.
Toda also had a trial with Sunderland but has opted to join Glenn Hoddle's men on a year's loan from Japanese side Shimizu S-Pulse.
The player has lines of connection with former Tottenham greats after playing under Ossie Ardiles and Steve Perryman who encouraged the midfield ace to opt for North London.
