Kuyt ends legal threat
It was revealed earlier in the week that Kuyt was looking to take the club to court and seek a free transfer over an unpaid bonus due to him from when he arrived at the club from amateur side Quick Boys.
The club met with Kuyt and his representative Piet Buter on Tuesday and it would seem the meeting has resulted in an amicable solution being struck.
It is not known what sort of financial settlement has been agreed, but reports are suggesting a substantial monetary payment has been waived by the forward in return for a reduction in his release fee.
This would seem to suit Kuyt, who has been strongly linked with the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Ajax and Feyenoord this term.
