Ifil joins Town
WATFORD have loaned reserve team player Jerel Ifil to Swindon Town for two months.
The move is designed to help the young defender face up to the rigours of life in the Nationwide League, after he had a temporary stint with Huddersfield Town last season.
Although the 20-year-old is unlikely to be plunged straight into the Town side, the fact that he will stay at The County Ground for a couple of months means he looks certain to have some part to play in their season.
The Football League confirmed the move could go ahead despite Swindon's well-documented cash problems.
