Adriano - I only want Inter

EXCLUSIVE
PARMA striker Adriano has rubbished claims that he is to join Juventus or Roma by pledging his future to Internazionale.

The sharp-shooting South American has been called up by the Brazilian squad for the game with China, and is more than happy to return to the neroazzurri after his season's stint with Parma.

"It is wonderful to be in the international squad," he told planetfootball.com. "I'm ready.

"I have the qualities to play for the Brazilian national team.

"I don't think Roma will be my next team.

"My big dream is playing for Inter. I want Inter. Only Inter.

"I spent six absolutely wonderful months there. It is full of big players.

"I want to be a big player for this big team."

The quicksilver forward also spoke about aspects of his game, and those who have impressed him since his arrival in Italy.

"My best qualities are my strength, my shot and ability on the ball," he declared.

"I could improve on my right foot, and also I don't help the team enough.

"The best coach in my career? (Cesare) Prandelli.

"(Adrian) Mutu will become a great player but only if he becomes more of a 'bad boy' on the field.

"It seems like we are the best two players in the team because we score the goals, but we have to improve a lot, especially to help the team.

"We cannot help the team now because we are young and we have to learn so many things.

"The best thing in Serie A was Lazio winning each week without the players being paid, it is the sign that football is, first of all, about passion.

"The player who impressed me most in the first part of the season was (Mauro) Camoranesi.

"In Brazil, Diego is terrific. I played some times with him.

"As for Ronaldo, I stayed at his house at the beginning, and he always spoke about Real Madrid, I mean even two years ago.

"Anyway, he is a really big person, just think how many things he did for me, including finding me a house."

Meanwhile, Inter are believed to have signed young midfielder Francisco Alberoni from Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama.

The 18-year-old holds an Italian passport meaning Inter will not need a work permit for his signature, although he is likely to start his Inter career in the youth team.
