Roma move for Marazzina
The 28-year-old has been seeking a move away from Chievo after falling out with coach Luigi del Neri.
The Italian international has attracted the interest of a host of clubs, but Roma have swooped to sign him on loan with a view to a permenant deal in the summer.
Marazzina has been brought in as a replacement for Argentine star Gabriel Batistuta, who left the giallorossi earlier this month for Internazionale.
Chievo have moved to sign Como's Croatian striker Sasa Bjelanovic on loan until the end of the season to fill the void left by Marazzina's departure.
Meanwhile, Chievo have also bolstered their squad by signing Cagliari defender Gianluca Grassadonia on loan until the end of the season.
Grassadonia's future at Cagliari has been the subject of intense speculation after Cagliari fans burnt his car last week after he scored an own goal in Cagliari's 3-0 defeat against AC Venezia.
Chievo have allowed out-of-favour defender Moreno Longo to move in the opposite direction as part of the deal.
