Luna leaves Hibs
HIBERNIAN striker Paco Luna has returned to Spain to join Second Division outfit Almeria.
Luna arrived at Easter Road from Monterrey in the summer of 2001 and netted 12 goals in 50 appearances.
But this term, the 31-year-old has found the net just twice, although he revealed he leaves with fond memories of his time in the Scottish capital.
"I am returning to Spain," stated Luna. "I have enjoyed playing in Scotland and I would like to thank Hibs and wish them well for the future."
The experienced marksman also enjoyed a brief spell at Dundee in the SPL and will be aiming to fire the goals to boost Almeria's promotion challenge.
