Wrexham trial non-league duo

WREXHAM are still looking out for new talent after taking two non-league players on trial.

Graham Evans and Owain Tudor Jones, who both play in the Welsh Premier League, will train with Denis Smith's side all week and should get a run-out in the reserves on Wednesday.

Caersws striker Evans is the son of former Dragons favourite Mickey and began as a trainee with Aston Villa before moving back to Wales, and banged in 18 goals last season.

Bangor City's Jones is an 18-year-old midfielder and has represented his country at Under-19 level after being selected by Neville Southall.

Both men will be hoping to impress Smith against Stockport's second string on Wednesday in the hope of earning a move to the Racecourse.

Smith, meanwhile, is still sweating on the fitness of star striker Andy Morrell for the trip to Oxford United on Wednesday.
