Dabizas in Greek squad

GREECE have included three overseas players in their 20-man squad for the friendly against Norway.

The Greeks will entertain the Nordic outfit in Heraklion on February 12 as the two nations prepare for spring's Euro 2004 qualifiers.

Newcastle United defender Nikos Dabizas is one of the trio of players in the Greek squad who do not ply their trade in their homeland.

Perugia striker Zivis Vryzas and Werder Bremen attacker Angelos Charisteas are the remaining two players based abroad.

Costas Halkias (Iraklis), Antonis Nikopolidis (Panathinaikos); Stelios Venetidis, Christos Patsatzoglou, Paraskevas Antzas (Olympiakos), Panagiotis Fissas, Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Georgios Seitaridis (Panathinaikos), Nikos Dabizas (Newcastle); Vassilis Tsartas, Vassilis Lakis, Theo Zagorakis (AEK Athens), Giorgos Georgadis, Pantelis Kafes (PAOK Salonika), Stelios Giannakopoulos (Olympiakos), Giorgias Karagounis, Angelos Bassinas (Panathinaikos); Angelos Charisteas (Werder Bremen), Zivis Vryzas (Perugia), Demis Nikolaidis (AEK Athens).
