Riise family hell

LIVERPOOL defender John Arne Riise's family have being living in fear of their lives after being sent death threats at their home in Norway.

The family home has been put under police guard and they have even been sent a hoax anthrax envelope as part of the campaign of terror.

The terrible saga has come about after Riise's mother and agent Berit had accused a Norwegian football manager of sexual harassment.

Aalesund manager Ivar Morten Normark was accused by Berit Riise on national television and has been the target of the hate campaign ever since - although there is no suggestion that the coach is involved.

"We feared for out lives and felt under siege," said Tormod Riise, the player's father.

"I cannot believe what Berit is going through. After all she is the one who has suffered from sexual harassment, time and again in the male-dominated football environment.

"She is the victim but she is made out to be the villain."

Norwegian international John Arne has managed to play on despite the fear for his family, and still managed to fire in two goals in his last two games for The Reds.
