Posh make Fotiadis move permanent

PETERBOROUGH UNITED have made striker Andrew Fotiadis' move to London Road permanent, after he put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Division Two club.

The Posh had initially brought the 25-year-old in on loan from fellow Division Two side Luton Town last week and Fotiadis has now agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with manager Barry Fry's side.

On securing Fotiadis permanently, Fry told the club's official website: "Andrew looked very impressive as a substitute last week and he has shown in training what he can do.

"He is strong, quick and has scored a lot of goals for Luton, so hopefully he can reproduce that at London Road.

"He will be in the squad for Saturday's game against Cardiff City and with a bit of luck he can show the fans what he is capable of."
