Kaka sticks in Brazil
The 20-year-old sensation, who was widely-regarded as the outstanding player of the last Brazilian championship, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
However, agent, Wagner Ribiero, has now come forward to quell speculation of an imminent departure from South America for the midfielder.
"Kaka wants to play in Europe, but we believe that the right moment will be after the (2004) Olympic Games," declared Wagner.
"Spain and England have the leagues with the money to sign Kaka, Italy is not able to at the moment.
"For now he will stay at Sao Paolo, unless a really marvellous offer comes in before 2004."
Wagner went to add that firm interest has thus far been shown in the youngster by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.
The player's release clause has now risen to some $20 million, largely due to some more excellent displays in the opening games of the new Brazilian season.
