Rivaldo eyeing Barca return

The Samba star left Camp Nou to join Serie A giants Milan last summer as a result of Louis van Gaal's return to the club.

The World Cup winner is a living legend in the city and has revealed that he has thought about the prospect of returning one day although, unfortunately for the fans, not to show his skills on the pitch.

"At times I think about returning to the city, but not to play," he revealed.

"Who knows, maybe I could go back as the trainer. You never know.

"I love Barcelona as a place and felt very comfortable living there during my five years at the club.

"The lifestyle is great and I will always remember that the supporters always treated me very well.

"I still have a lot of friends at the club and we parted as friends."

Barca have struggled without the services of Rivaldo and he would be given a hero's welcome should he return to take the reins at the club.
