Paauwe primed for new deal
TWENTE ENSCHEDE'S back-up goalkeeper Cees Paauwe is set to sign a new three-year contract.
Paauwe is currently understudy to Sander Boschker and has to be satisfied with sporadic appearances for Twente.
But Boschker's future at the club is in doubt as he has failed to reach an agreement for a fresh deal and could leave in the summer.
If that occurs, Paauwe is expected to be promoted to first choice with a lucrative three-year contract in his pocket.
Paauwe has made just six appearances for Twente since arriving from Cambuur Leeuwarden last summer.
