De Biasi relieved with win
MODENA ended their awful run of form that saw them go 11 games without a win, with a 1-0 victory against high-flying Chievo.
The win will give Modena even more breathing space over the sides below them and the result came as a huge relief to coach Gianni De Biasi.
"It has been a difficult time," said De Biasi.
"We really needed to win and I'm glad we were able to do it.
"Chievo are a very good team and to win was really important for us."
Flying Donkeys defender Nicola Legrottaglie said his team were disappointed but would bounce back.
He said: "In comparison with the win over Inter, we played badly.
"We'll have to react and put things right in our next match."
