Mido dropped again

MIDO has been relegated to Ajax's reserves for the rest of the season, after yet another spat with the Dutch champions' management.

The Egyptian star had only just returned to the first team, after he reportedly missed a meeting with club sponsors.

However, his reaction to the previous ban, where he states that he did not do anything wrong - has now got him demoted once again..

"I have no idea at all," he said when asked what he had done.

"I haven't even asked Ronald Koeman, what does it matter - the decision had already been made.

"If this is what the coach wants with me, I can't do anything about it. "I had heard that I didn't visit a sponsor's meeting."

"I still don't think I did anything wrong enough for me to receive a ban."

It now seems that Mido's time at Ajax is coming to an end and he is unlikely to play for the Dutch giants again this season.

Mido has made a massive impact at Ajax since his arrival in 2001, grabbing 23 goals in 57 games - including nine this season which makes him top-scorer.
