Sukur's fitness vow
The Turkish striker made his Rovers debut as a substitute last weekend against Manchester City after over two months on the sidelines with a broken leg.
He moved to Ewood Park in December and is aiming to prove his Premiership pedigree once he is firing on all cylinders.
Sukur admitted Rovers manager Graeme Souness was delighted he was available for the game against City but that there is plenty more to come.
"Souness was excited when I was in the game," said Sukur. "I am not ready exactly now. But I will be better."
The former Galatasaray ace did give Rovers a scare on Tuesday night when he played in a Rest of the World XI against an African XI at The Reebok Stadium.
Sukur netted in a 45-minute run-out in the match but took a heavy fall after a collision with Nigerian goalkeeper Murphy Akanji.
Rovers will be hoping Sukur suffered no serious damage in the incident and he can continue his Blackburn career without any further setbacks.
