Injury ko for Johnson
CRYSTAL PALACE were dealt a hammer blow on Tuesday night, as Andrew Johnson picked up a hamstring injury that could sideline him for two months.
Defeat to their Selhurst Park tenants Wimbledon was bad enough, but the loss of key striker Johnson was a double blow.
The former Birmingham striker limped off in the first-half and tests have confirmed a torn hamstring.
Eagles physio George Cooper said: "He's torn his hamstring and will be out for six weeks. It's a massive blow for him as for the club."
Defeat to Wimbledon effectively ended Palace`s outside hopes of reaching the play-offs, with the injury to Johnson rubbing salt into the wounds.
