Larsson will quit Celtic next summer

HENRIK LARSSON says he has no plans to change his mind about leaving Celtic at the end of next season.

The Swedish striker`s contract expires at the end of next season and he has always said that will be the end of his Parkhead career.

Speculation about his future reared its head last week when Bhoys boss Martin O`Neill said he would love to see the striker sign a new deal.

O`Neill`s comments have prompted Larsson to clarify his position once again.

"It will be difficult to walk away," the former Feyenoord man said. "But next season will be my final one at Celtic Park.

"By the time I finish, I will have been at the club for seven years. It's been a big part of my life, not just in terms of football, but socially as well.

"It's going to be very difficult to leave but that's the way it is. Sometimes you might stay with a club too long and I just don't want that to happen."
