Espanyol desperate to keep Roger
ESPANYOL have offered a four-year extension to Roger, whose current deal expires in the summer.
The former Barca man - whose full name is Roger Garcia - has become one of Espanyol's star men and they are desperate to hang onto the player despite options abroad.
The club are keen to build their side around the left sided midfielder, but the player himself has indicated that he may play away from Spain.
"Foreign leagues are appealing," said Roger, last year when informed of interest from Paris Saint Germain.
The contract on offer would allow Roger to finish his career with the club, and a speedy decision is expected.
