Okan Buruk says Turks feel good
The Turks reached the semi-finals of last year's World Cup when they too, like England in the previous round, were beaten by eventual winners Brazil.
"I feel ready," he declared. "We are in great form right now.
"Besides, a prestigious setting like the one in England will motivate us to do our best.
"After our football showing at the World Cup in Korea and Japan we're aiming to give our supporters another great display."
Former Galatasaray coach Jupp Derwall has warned England coach Sven Goran Eriksson they are about to face the best side in Europe when they take on Turkey next Wednesday.
Derwall told Turkish newspaper Zaman: "Turkey is the best team in Europe at the moment.
"If they can beat England, their names will be memorised by all of Europe. Turkey is capable of beating all teams.
"But Turks need more motivation for this match. In the past, beating England was the dream of dreams.
"If Turkey can beat England on home soil, then this crop of players will be as popular as the ones who did so well at the last World Cup."
