Kim Nam-il released for friendly
Initially, Excelsior were reluctant to release Kim for the international clash, and Lee had his right shoulder dislocated while playing for Ulsan Hyundai against Sangmu Phoenix in the K-League season opener.
"Excelsior have no choice but to send Kim, because the friendly falls on a Fifa international match day. In the case of Lee, we won't field him if his shoulder and physical condition don't improve enough," said spokesperson Song Ki-ryong.
The friendly will be Humberto Coelho's first match in charge of the Korean national team, where he is expected to deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation rather than the customary 3-4-3 system.
