Wiltord happy despite no talks
Wiltord arrived in North London in the summer of 2000 and after an indifferent start to his career in England, he emerged as a vital part of the Gunners' squad.
The 28-year-old has played nearly 150 games for Arsenal - scoring 43 times in the process.
Wiltord has changed his game immensely since switching to Arsenal and is now more than at home at right midfield and it is his new versatility which has helped him play such a vital role in the recent success at Highbury.
"I have been happy since the first day I arrived," explained Wiltord.
"Even if my first problem was to integrate myself and start playing regularly.
"When I see the last three seasons, I am telling myself I can't find better than this. It is the best.
"I am also lucky to have never been injured and to stay in the group.
"My aim remains to go as high as possible, next season we must be in a European semi-final and we have to win the league again this season.
"It is just like with Les Bleus, I would like us to keep our European title."
There is, though, a major question mark hanging over Wiltord's long term future.
He is out of contract next year and it is understood that talks are yet begin.
Wiltord is believed to want a four-year contract, but Arsenal do not appear to be keen on handing him such a long deal.
