Inamoto rescues Japan
JAPAN coach Zico is still looking for his first win in charge of the national team after they were held to a 2-2 draw with Uruguay in their international friendly on Friday in Tokyo.
Manchester United striker Diego Forlan gave the South Americans the lead on 21 minutes, but the lead was short-lived as Reggina ace Shunsuke Nakamura equalised two minutes later from the penalty spot.
The visitors restored their lead two minutes later with Nacional defender Alejandro Lembo netting.
Japan fought back to equalise again after 57 minutes with Fulham midfielder Junichi Inamoto finding the net.
The result means that Zico has still to win after three games in charge of the side.
