Riggott returns for Boro
MIDDLESBROUGH defender Chris Riggott has returned to training after making a rapid recovery from knee surgery.
The England Under-21 international tore knee cartilage earlier this month, but he has returned to fitness weeks ahead of schedule.
Riggott will play for Boro reserves on Tuesday as he looks to move back to full fitness.
"Chris has worked very hard in rehabilitation with Bob Ward and had made steady progress from his injury," said assistant manager Bill Beswick.
"He is now ready to start the build up to full fitness again."
Riggott is officially on loan from Derby County, but The Teessiders have already confirmed that the deal will be made permanent.
