Huckerby hints at Forest stay

NOTTHINGHAM FOREST loan star Darren Huckerby has admitted he would like to move to the City Ground on a permanent basis.

Huckerby, who joined Forest on loan from Manchester City in February for the rest of the season, revealed he would stay at the club if they managed to win promotion to The Premiership.

The 26-year-old has impressed at Forest netting five goals in six appearances after falling down the pecking order at Maine Road.

The former Coventry and Newcastle star is out of Kevin Keegan's first team plans and he would consider a move to Forest if they can win promotion.

"It's a great club to play for and, of course, I would consider a permanent move if we go all the way to promotion," said Huckerby.
