Robins hand quartet chance to shine

CHELTENHAM TOWN boss Bobby Gould is set to run the rule over four trialists in Wednesday's reserve outing against Swindon Town.

The former Wales manager (pictured) will include Matthew Rouse, Jamie Gosling, Kevin Evans and Kirk Hilton for the trip to Swindon.

Rouse, a Bristol City youth-product, will make his second appearance for the Robins' second-string after the left back played against Southend last week.

Bath City midfielder Gosling will perform as part of his week-long trial at Whaddon Road.

Evans is also likely to get a start during his second spell training with Town this season, while Gould will also hand former Manchester United trainee Hilton the chance to impress.

Meanwhile, the club have allowed young striker Luke Corbett to join Hednesford Town on loan until the end of the season.
